Slot Canyon

from $20.00

Slot Canyons, Utah.

Warm sunlight extends an invitation as striations in the sandstone lead deeper into the narrowing canyon walls.

Utah boasts the densest population of Slot Canyons in the world. A Slot Canyon is a narrow canyon with sheer vertical walls, sometimes hundreds of feet deep and only a few feet wide, formed by erosion.

This region was originally inhabited by the Paiute and Pueblos peoples. 10% of profits from the sale of this photograph will benefit the National Indigenous Women's Resource Center.
